The Proprietor / Operations Manager
Randel P. Salcedo, one of the sons of the owner and founding artisan of
Angeli Glass, holds a degree in BS Electronics and Communications
Engineering. However, after several years practicing in the telecoms and
automation industry, he chose to contribute to the family business as
leading the Sales and Marketing team in 2002-2009. During this time, he
also introduced colored borosilicate glass into the company’s designs.
In 2015 to 2018, he expanded his involvement by taking the part in
running the operations of the company. He sourced out new materials
and torches to level up the production process and injected new
techniques in lampworking.
Following the passing of the owner and founder in 2019, Randel stepped
up to continue the legacy.
The Founder
“I want to place the Philppines in the ‘GLASS MAP’ of the world”…the vision of Angelita P. Salcedo…a native from Majayjay, Laguna.
Though a degree holder in BS Education from the University of the East, her unleashed passion for arts and design had been clearly modeled through her glassworks. Together with her husband, Rodolfo C. Salcedo, they set-up a small workshop using improvised blow torch and scrap iron tools to blow the first glass bubblet.
What started out a therapeutic hobby from a small basement has branched out in the market as Angeli Glass Products Specialties or APS.
At present, there are over a thousand modeled designs which had been passed on to ladyANGELI. No two pieces are exactly alike and each piece has its own story to tell.
